FINISHED! I slacked a bit in the background however. :/
Contest entry for  ANYWAYS! I have been working on and off on this for a good two weeks now, not sure how many hours total, it was just sporadic periods of work. I'm really pleased with Barbossa, I've never drawn him before, he seems a bit cleaner than originally intended >.<.....and i couldn't leave Jack the monkey out! The contest requirements were as follows: *Draw redelf with wither Sparrow, Jones or Barbossa *Red Curling hair ( I did ringlets! they were so fun to do  )*Green eyes So there it is! I'm off to search for more contest and such! I learned a lot doing this, and having certain requirements was great practice too. P.S. A story formed in my head while doing this. I'd like to think that this version of redelf is a Lady of generous fortune whose family owns a well known apple orchard. Barbossa sneaked his way into the orchard because of his apple fetish and was ultimately shot at by Lady Redelf (hence the smoking gun) . Sword fight ensues etc. etc. best friends for life. (or blood enemies, whatever you feel is more dynamic ) end. |
