It looks more digital painting-ey than gradient-ey, so don't feel like OMG I USED GRADIENTS NOOOES. (Not that you can't use gradients in digital painting, of course, but I know what you were trying to do, so...)
Um um um um um... Some of the eyes look crooked (like, they should be placed on different areas of the face), but other than that I can't really think of any useful critique. :B

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

Gene was so hard to do, but i'm glad he came out decent!
After working on these for so long I was beginning to wonder if they even resembled the characters!
